**Hassel** har nøtter. Hassel kan klippast ned til grunnen og veksa opp igjen (coppice). Hassel kan matast til [[kaninar]]. Hassel er bra! > I don't think you can grow hazel from cuttings. Certainly not easily. Traditional time to coppice hazel is winter and you can easily propagate then by layering: that is, bend down a young shoot about 6 foot long growing from the base of the tree and peg it down so that it is in good contact with the soil. In a year or so you'll have a new hazel growing there. you can then cut it off from the parent plant, dig it up and replant it where you want it. Willow is completely different, and as long as it doesn't dry out it will root very easily. I've even known a willow stake take root when it's been hammered into the ground, upside down, as a fencepost. ([[http://mygarden.rhs.org.uk/forums/p/17911/45407.aspx|My Garden-diskusjon]])
