**Tomat**! Alle liker tomat!

Add a couple of tablespoons of water to the seeds. Cover the container with a piece of plastic-wrap and then poke the plastic-wrap with a paring knife or pen point to put a small hole in it...this is to allow for air-transpiration. Eg søkte etter "tomato companion" og fann mange tips. Desse plantane går godt saman med tomat:
  * [[Agurkurt]] (//Borage//)
  * [[Asparges]]
  * [[Basilikum]]
  * [[Blomkarse]]
  * [[Ringblom]]/tagetes
  * [[Gulrot]]

Mindre gode venner er:
  * Alle typar [[kål]] (Brassica) og [[fennikel]] held voksteren gjensidig tilbake med tomat
  * [[Potet]] og [[mais]] har liknande helseproblem, og dei to plantane saman blir derfor meir sårbare
