**[[Fatsia]]** er eit gammalt japansk ord for "fem", og viser til dei femfingra lauva. Me hadde ein Fatsia i den gamle hagen som koste seg nede ved elva - så godt at eg ikkje ville flytta han. I den nye hagen kunne det også passa med ein, tenkte eg. Dei er vintergrøne og fine, og toler skygge. Typen eg tilfeldigvis fann denne gongen heiter 'Spiders Web', og er fint variegert i grønt og kvitt. Denne blei planta i september [[2014]] på nordsida av huset.
